Awards and Recognition - Each year at the Annual Meeting and Training Sessions OBOA acknowledges deserving member’s or industry colleagues who have volunteered their time, made exceptional contributions and demonstrated outstanding service by furthering the goals of the OBOA. These are the leaders that improve and strengthen our association.
The Awards bring well-deserved prestige and recognition, as this year’s Awards Chair I ask that you take a few minutes of your time to review the variety of Attached awards and help us recognize a star at this year’s AMTS as recognition starts with you! Awarded to the individual whose devotion to the industry has furthered the aim and objectives of this Association and to the industry as a whole. In Memory of Donald Carleton Beam, whose contribution to the Development of Codes and Standards and his untiring dedication to the safety of all, this award is dedicated.

Criteria:

  • Member or Non-Member of the OBOA,
  • Cannot receive this award multiple times,
  • A person who has made a significant contribution to this Association through codes & standards or education training,
  • Not necessarily awarded every year.
