Tim is proud to have been re-elected to the Ontario Building Officials Association (OBOA) Board of Directors in 2025 and is honoured to serve as Vice President. He remains deeply committed to supporting OBOA Chapters, the Building Code Advisory Service, and the Education Committee.
With a career spanning over two decades, Tim has been a Building Official since 2001 and has spent the past nineteen years with the City of Kitchener. He has held a variety of roles within municipal building departments, progressing to his current position as Manager of Building in 2011. His experience also includes an international perspective, having worked with Auckland Council in New Zealand from 2017 to 2018.
Certified by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in 2007 to facilitate Building Code courses, Tim has spent the last 18 years sharing his expertise with building officials across Ontario. He values the opportunity to both teach and learn from his peers.
Tim looks forward to continuing to promote the Building Official profession throughout Ontario.
