Hi there and thanks for checking in. It's hard to believe that I have been a member of this association for just over 29 years. I started my career in 1997 with the City of Guelph as part of their front counter staff. Over the years I've progressed through Part 9 and Part 3 plans examination roles to Part 9 inspections and finally to my current position as a Part 3 inspector with the City of Waterloo. Just like my career I have progressed from the Wellington-Waterloo Chapter executive to my current role on the OBOA executive as Director, Region D. I am so proud to represent the Chapters in Region D and work with such knowledgeable and dedicated building officials. I am committed to advocating and promoting our profession to ensure we continue to be the guardians of safe and sustainable communities throughout the province.
